Online (Zoom) Beginning Birding Course is Back by Popular Demand!

Dr. Peter Yaukey will be offering OAS’s online (Zoom) Beginning Birding Course, beginning on Sunday, June 28. We will zoom on Sunday evenings from 7-9 PM for five consecutive Sundays. Dr. Yaukey will record each zoom session, post on YouTube, and provide the class with a private access link.

This is the first in a four course series (Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced I and Advanced II) that Dr. Yaukey has taught through three times previously for OAS. The courses are designed to focus on birding in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle.

Registration is $100. If you have already taken this course with Dr. Yaukey, you can re-take it for only $50. If you took a previous version of it that had a field component, roughly half the content of this course will be new to you (we will cover more in lecture to make up for lack of field time).
